Registration Instructions

Failure to follow the rules may result in the offender being “benched” by staff, asked to leave the

pool for the day or revocation of your pool membership.

• Obey instructions from lifeguards, staff, and board members.
• No smoking OR vaping anywhere on the pool property. We are a smoke-free facility that includes all grounds, including the parking lot.
• Proper swim attire is required to be worn in the pool. Street clothes including cut-off shorts, denim shorts, or thong bathing suits are not permitted to be worn in the pool. Thong bottoms may not be worn on the grounds at any time.
• Children under the age of 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent /guardian at all times.
• No running on the pool deck.
• No bullying of any member or guest of Crestwood Pool. Bullying is defined as unwarranted, aggressive behavior that involves a real or perceived power of imbalance and includes making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose.
• Pushing, shoving, horseplay, other rough-housing, or inappropriate behavior is prohibited.
• No foul language.
• No diving into the shallow end of the pool.
• Only one jump is allowed on the diving board. Excessive jumping on the diving board will result in the person being benched.
• No hanging on lane lines, ropes, or rails.
• No climbing over the fence or under the fence.
• Do not distract the lifeguards while they are on duty.
• Children, who are not toilet trained, must wear swim diapers.
• Individuals who cannot swim shall only swim in the shallow end.
• The pool will be closed for a minimum of 30 minutes in cases of bad weather (thunder, lightning strikes, tornado warnings, etc.).
• Starting blocks shall not be used for any purpose other than for competitive swimming.
• Glass, sharp objects, or any other items that might cause injury or accidents shall not be allowed in the pool or pool area.
• Spitting, spouting water, blowing the nose, or discharging bodily waste in the pool is prohibited.
• No littering. Members and guests shall pick up their trash and dispose of it properly.
• No vandalism to pool property.
• Floats, inner tubes, and soft balls (nerf balls) are allowed when the pool is not crowded. The manager on duty will determine when these items are allowed/not allowed in the pool. Please be mindful and courteous to everyone around you when using these.
• No inner tubes/floats with confetti or glitter in them.
• No small pool or bath toys are allowed.
• The use of squirt guns is prohibited.
• No food fights or inappropriate use of condiments.
• No climbing on or jumping off the top of the playground equipment.
• No jumping off the top of the slide.
• No goggles while using the slide or the diving board.
• No alcohol or drugs are allowed on the pool property at any time, including the pavilion.
• No charcoal grills on the pool grounds.
• No pets are allowed on Crestwood Pool property.
